La Alcaidesa

La Alcaidesa boasts an exceptional location, perfectly positioned for exploring Southern Spain and beyond. Málaga city and Málaga Int Airport are just a 1:10 hour drive away, while Gibraltar Int Airport can be reached in only 30 min. - putting you on top of the Rock of Gibraltar within 45 min.


The area is known for its beautiful sandy beaches and extensive coastal hiking trails. Sotogrande is 10 min. and Marbella is 50 min. away, and a scenic drive brings you to the stunning town of Ronda in under 1:20 hour. Tarifa and its surrounding beaches are 40 min. away. The charming cities of Cádiz and Jerez de la Frontera are a little over an hour drive, while Seville can be reached in approximately two hours.


Traveling to Morocco is also easy, with fast ferry connections from Tarifa or Algeciras taking around one hour plus approx one hour border control.


La Alcaidesa resort offers cafés, restaurants, beach bars (chiringuitos), and a grocery store, all within walking distance of the apartment. For even more dining options, Sotogrande, San Roque, and Algeciras are just a 10-minute drive away.

You’ll also find a washing machine, vacuum cleaner, and a complete set of cleaning supplies, along with fresh towels and essential toiletries, so you can settle in and feel at home from the moment you arrive.
